I was born the fourth child out of five children. We all went to Sunday school, church, bible school; I was even baptized and confirmed. As I got older and made my own choices, I walked away from the church life. Ever since I can remember, I was always been made to feel like I didn’t do anything right or as good as other people.
By the time I was in high school I started drinking and partying on weekends, then quickly it became almost every night. But, by the grace of God I never got a ticket, never had an accident, or hurt anyone.
At twenty-five I got married, but that became an ongoing headache and by the time I was thirty, I was divorced. However, at least from the marriage I got a beautiful daughter and now a granddaughter.
Life was still a struggle; I had a couple of business situations go bad, which took me down to bankruptcy. As I was dealing with lawyers for losing my business and past marriage problems, I met a beautiful woman who was a Christian and she asked me to go to church with her. Without hesitation, I said yes. I continued to see her and go to church, within one year we decided to get married. The wedding didn’t go quite the way we would have like it so we ended up leaving and searching from church to church for about nine years. Then one day, we went back to the church where my wife went when I met her and Pastor Dave, knowing that I rode motorcycles, told me about Bikers for Christ, but I wasn’t sure about it. A couple of months later my wife and I joined BFC, the riding season of 2008 came and many friendships have been formed since.
The Lord continues to bless me financially and spiritually.
